Insurance and Fees
Fees (for insurance, see below)
Out-of-Pocket Fees & Services
If you plan to utilize your insurance, please see our network details below.
Initial Psychiatric Evaluation & Intake (60 mins): $300
A comprehensive diagnostic review and personalized care mapping.
Ketamine Medical & Psychiatric Clearance (60 mins): $400
A specialized, deep-dive consultation to establish clinical safety before you begin treatment in your therapist's office. A portion of this medical evaluation may be insurance-eligible; however, out-of-network reimbursement varies and is never guaranteed. I am happy to help you navigate this process.
Collaborative Follow-Up Care
Every follow-up visit integrates focused medical oversight with supportive counseling, psychoeducation, and holistic lifestyle interventions. This includes ongoing medical check-ins for ketamine care.
50-Minute Extended Session: $250
35-Minute Intensive Session: $195
20-Minute Standard Session: $145
15-Minute Brief Check-In: $95 (Available only for highly stable, routine medication adjustments)
Psychedelic Integration & Harm Reduction
Hourly Support Session: $150
Please note: Integration and harm reduction coaching services are strictly educational and are noteligible for health insurance reimbursement.
Insurance
I am currently undergoing credentialing with multiple insurance companies, and will update this page.
I am proudly in-network and actively accepting clients with the following commercial carriers:
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
UnitedHealthcare / Optum
I am currently finalizing in-network contracts with additional major insurance networks to bring you more options soon. Please check back regularly for live network updates.
Out-of-Network & PPO Plans
If you carry a commercial insurance plan not listed above (such as a PPO plan) and wish to see me out-of-network, you will be responsible for paying my standard session fees at the time of service. I will gladly provide you with an itemized monthly superbill that you can submit directly to your insurance company to seek reimbursement.
Verifying Your Behavioral Health Benefits
Because insurance policies vary widely, I highly recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card before our first visit to confirm your exact mental health coverage. Here are the specific questions to ask them:
"Is Sophie Loe Therapeutics an in-network provider for my specific behavioral health plan?"
"Do I have an insurance deductible for outpatient mental health visits, and has it been met for the year?"
"What is my exact copay or coinsurance amount per visit?"
"Does my plan require a primary care physician (PCP) referral for routine outpatient psychiatry (CPT codes 99213/99214)?" (Note: Most modern commercial plans do not require a referral for mental health care, but it is always safest to double-check).
